Skoda car sales in Russia rise 30.7% to 81,459 vehicles in 2018
MOSCOW, Jan 9 (PRIME) – Skoda’s Russian sales rose 30.7% to 81,459 cars in 2018, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Skoda continues the trend of mounting Russian sales: in 2018, the brand sold 81,459 cars to clients, which exceeds the 2017 result by 30.7% (62,302 vehicles). (The sales of) all models of the Czech brand showed a double-digit growth,” the statement said.
The sales of Skoda Rapid cars increased 19.2% to 35,089 vehicles, while the sales of Skoda Octavia rose 10.5% to 25,026 vehicles, the sales of Skoda Superb grew 15.9% to 2,180 vehicles, and the sales of Skoda Kodiaq stood at 16,223.
